What To Expect

At Five Guys Roofing, we strive to ensure your project is as smooth and stress-free as possible. This “What To Expect” guide provides an overview of what you can expect at each stage of the process—from preparation before we start, to the steps we take during the roofing project, and finally, what happens after completion. We’ve also included helpful tips to keep your property safe and organized throughout the project. Explore the details below to feel confident and well-prepared for your roofing experience!

Before We Start

  • Material Delivery: Roofing materials will arrive 1–3 days before the start date and may be placed on your roof.
  • Dumpster Placement: A dumpster or dump trailer will be placed in your driveway—your Project Manager will coordinate placement with you during the Pre-Job Walk.
  • Tarping Requests: Let your Project Manager know in advance if you’d like outdoor furniture or your pool tarped.

During Roofing

  • Noise Levels: Expect hammering, nail guns, and other construction sounds.
  • Daily Cleanup: Crews will tidy up at the end of each day, but please note that your property will resemble a construction site.
  • Safety: Avoid drop zones, ladders, and dumpsters. Keep pets and children inside or closely monitored.
  • Satellite Dishes: Satellite dishes may need to be moved, which could affect connectivity temporarily. Please contact your satellite provider for removal, reinstallation, and recalibration.

After Completion

  • Quality Walk: Your Project Manager will monitor quality throughout and conduct a review once the project is finished.
  • Final Walk: After addressing any remaining tasks, a final walkthrough can be scheduled—please notify the Project Coordinator if you’d like to participate.
